Rain on my Window

Recently, I've been playing more in acrylics rather than oil. I love the fluidity of the acrylics. They also dry much faster than my oils which sometimes take months to dry.

One day, after looking out the window, I had the idea to just let the paint flow down my canvas. We've been having so much rain in Vermont that it somehow seemed appropriate.

This is how the final painting looks. I was so pleased with it that I've decided to do a much larger work. Which will be posted here when I have it completed.
